Born and raised in the Bregenzer Forest – a unique valley in the Alps, where the community shares a unique appreciation and understanding of the healing properties of nature – Susanne Kaufmann has harnessed this centuries-old wisdom, passed down from generation to generation, to create an exceptional, results-orientated and scientifically-proven range of natural skin and body care that promotes a powerful sense of wellbeing. Developed in collaboration with a team of pharmacists and dermatologists, Susanne’s vision has grown into an extensive collection of skin-specific formulas – targeted treatments designed to address the full spectrum of common skin concerns and in turn, help to re-establish equilibrium.

Aqua (Water):

The natural, spring water is filtered through a special water treatment system that cleans, energises and mineralises the water. It is a good solvent for many raw materials.

Propylheptyl Caprylate:

Skin-smoothing, synthetic lipid.

Pentylene Glycol:

The organic compound serves as a humectant and moisturiser and has an antibacterial effect.

Lactose:

Contains moisturising proteins and a high proportion of powerful anti-aging ingredients. Milk protein also consists of many different amino acids, which are known for their skin-protecting effects.

Glycerin:

It is present in all waxes and oils. It attracts water to the skin and supports cell regeneration. We only use plant-based glycerin.

Alcohol Plant:

Alcohol of plant-based origin.

Cetearyl Alcohol:

A fatty alcohol that occurs as a natural component in plants. It improves the stability of emulsions and has strong soothing properties.

Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil:

Meadowfoam seed oil. The seeds of meadowfoam create a valuable seed oil, which is rich in long-chain fatty acids and makes the skin soft and velvety. It also has a strong moisturising effect. Meadowfoam oil is similar to jojoba oil in its consistency and skin-feeling. It provides a very silky, smooth, yet non-greasy feeling.

Polyglyceryl-3 Stearate:

Emulsifier based on plant-based raw materials.

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil:

Castor oil is made from the seed of the castor plant. It is a good solvent for waxes and dyes and has good adhesion to the skin, as well as a long-lasting smoothing effect.

Glyceryl Stearate Citrate:

Plasticiser based on plant-based raw materials. It easily sinks into the skin and slows down the loss of moisture. It also protects against damage by free radicals.

Mineral Salts:

The 12 mineral salts introduced by Doctor Schüßler have cell-regulating and building functions. He discovered that the body's cells can best absorb the mineral salts on offer in a homoeopathically prepared form. Support cell functions. They are regarded as building materials and supplies for the cells.

Astaxanthin:

Astaxanthin is considered “the most powerful antioxidant in the world". It neutralises free radicals that arise during stress, excessive UV exposure but also during the "normal" processes in the body.

Salvia Sclarea (Clary) Extract:

The clary sage plant extract, also known as Salvia sclarea, has antioxidant properties, although it is nowhere near as well researched as some other plant extracts with antioxidant benefits. The main antioxidants in the muscatel extract come from the seeds and include vitamin E, lutein and various carotenoids.

Trifolium Pratense (Clover) Flower Extract:

Due to the high content of isoflavones, the red clover has a strong antioxidant, skin-regenerating and stimulating effect on the skin's cell metabolism.

Centella Asiatica (Hydrocotyle) Leaf Extract:

The extract of the Asiatic pennywort is mainly used in traditional Chinese medicine. It promotes wound healing and has an antibiotic and antioxidative effect.

Scrophularia Nodosa Extract:

Scrophularia nodosa plays an important role in natural medicine as it has a positive effect on the lymphatic system.

Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil:

There is evidence that rosemary oil can help to reduce tissue inflammation, which can lead to swelling, pain, and stiffness.

Sodium Phytate:

The active ingredient extracted from rice bran reduces water hardness and leaves behind smoother skin. It also has an antioxidative effect, thereby supporting the effectiveness of other ingredients contained in the product.

Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate:

Sodium stearoyl glutamate is produced from plant-based raw materials, serves to improve viscosity and has cleansing properties.

Tocopherol:

Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant. In addition, vitamin E is effective against premature wrinkles, soothes the skin and protects it from drying out. Vitamin E, a vitamin for the skin protection, neutralises free radicals caused by UV light and other environmental influences.

Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil:

Olea europaea (olive) fruit oil is the fatty oil from the ripe fruit of the olive tree. It consists primarily of the glycerides of linoleic, palmitic fatty acid and oil. It contains high amounts of squalane, sterols, phenols and small amounts of tocopherols. Presumably, the antioxidant and regenerative effects of the oil are attributed to its secondary phytonutrients.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil:

Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the sunflower. Due to the high linoleic acid content and the relatively low proportion of saturated fatty acids of sunflower oil, it is a lightweight, mild and nourishing oil. It makes the skin supple and smooth. The light oil is often used for combination skin.

Galactoarabinan:

A non-thickening polymer from the bark of the larch.

Xanthan Gum:

Xanthan gum is a fermentation product and is created by natural microorganisms on the basis of sugar-containing substrates. It is used as a natural emulsifier and has a good skin compatibility. In addition it has a tightening effect.

Limonene:

Natural component of essential citrus oils . It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.

Geraniol:

Geraniol is a natural part of the essential oil of roses. It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.

Citronellol:

The fragrance is part of many essential oils, such as rose, geranium and citronella. It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.

Linalool:

Produced as an intermediate in the synthesis of vitamin E and serves as an odorant. It is a natural component of essential oils. It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.

Citral:

Natural fragrance of lemon grass oil. It is not added as an isolated substance, but is always included as a component of natural essential oils.

Parfum (Fragrance):

Fragrance with very low allergenic potential and no preservatives.
