For the past year, I’ve been using an LED mask around three times a week. Usually in the evening, after cleansing, before skincare. It quietly became part of my routine. Nothing extreme. Nothing complicated. Just twenty minutes to slow down for a moment.
And I’m going to be very honest about it: I don’t wake up every morning looking in the mirror thinking wow, my skin has completely transformed.
Which is interesting, because beauty tools like this are often sold to us with dramatic before and afters. Instant glow. Firmer skin in six weeks. Skin transformed overnight.
That hasn’t really been my experience.
But at the same time… I also don’t want to stop using it.
Because even though the results feel subtle, I do feel like my skin behaves better when I use it consistently. Calmer. Less reactive. A little fresher. Less tired looking somehow.
Not in a dramatic way. More in that quiet, healthy skin kind of way. And maybe that’s exactly the point.
I actually think LED masks are a bit like exercise. One workout doesn’t completely change your body. But when you stop completely? You suddenly notice the difference everywhere.
The other thing I didn’t expect is how much I enjoy the ritual itself.
No phone. No emails. No multitasking. Just sitting still for twenty minutes.
Three times a week feels realistic for me. Not too intense. Not another thing on my to do list. And I think that’s important with beauty tools. The best routines are usually the ones you can actually maintain consistently.
One of our dearest customers recently told us she bought the LED hair growth helmet from CurrentBody and genuinely noticed a visible difference in her hair growth after using it consistently for a longer period of time.
And honestly, that made sense to me.
I think these technologies probably work best quietly, gradually, and over time. Not aggressively. Not overnight. More like long term support for your skin.
Do I think everyone needs an LED mask? Probably not. Do I think it’s a miracle product? Also no.
But I do think it’s one of those beauty habits that quietly supports your skin over time. And mayeb, I trust those kinds of results much more than anything promising instant transformation.
