1. Much of your philosophy comes from a place of heritage and nature. If you strip it down to one defining lesson the Alps have taught you about beauty, what would it be?
The Alps have taught me that true beauty is not about perfection but about harmony. Growing up in the Bregenzerwald, I witnessed how closely life and nature are connected. Beauty comes from vitality, resilience, and authenticity; qualities that flourish when we live in balance with the world around us.
For me, the greatest lesson is that nature provides everything we need if we treat it with respect. Alpine plants such as arnica, chamomile, and sage have been used for generations to heal and restore. They remind us that beauty is a reflection of health and wellbeing, and that our skin thrives when it is supported by natural rhythms and ingredients.

2. In a world where women are expected to be everything at once , creative, resilient, and flawless, what does it mean for you to show up authentically?
To me, authenticity means staying true to my values and honoring both my strengths and my limitations. I have learned over time that true strength is not about doing everything perfectly but about being honest with yourself.
Showing up authentically is about finding balance. I believe women should feel empowered to define their own version of beauty and success, rather than conforming to unrealistic ideals. For me, authenticity is reflected in consistency, in my commitment to sustainability, to local production, to using natural ingredients, and to creating formulas that truly support the skin. When I remain aligned with these values, I can show up fully and truthfully, without compromise.
3. Your brand has always merged science with intuition. Where do you think intuition still plays the most powerful role in skincare?
Science gives us evidence, data, and proof of efficacy, but intuition has always been my guiding force when choosing ingredients and creating formulations. Intuition is born from lived experience: watching my grandmother prepare remedies with plants from our garden, understanding how chamomile calms, how sage purifies, how St. John’s Wort soothes.
When I create new products, I begin with intuition, asking which plants feel most aligned with the skin’s needs, and then I turn to science to validate and enhance those instincts. For example, ectoin, Q10, and peptides are all powerful actives that modern research confirms, but my intuition tells me they must work in harmony with botanicals to deliver results that are not only visible but also nurturing. This interplay between tradition and innovation is what makes skincare truly effective and soulful.

4. If time was distilled into a single moment of daily ritual, which one feels most sacred to you, and why?
My evening skincare ritual is the most sacred moment of my day. It is a time when I consciously let go of everything that has come before: the demands, the pace, the decisions, and I reconnect with myself.
For me, beauty has always been a ritual of care. Cleansing the skin, applying a cream, and massaging the face are not just functional steps, they are moments of grounding and gratitude. I like to begin with a few deep breaths, allowing the body and mind to slow down before moving through each step with intention. At night, when the skin regenerates most deeply, this ritual becomes a way of honoring that natural process. It is a small but powerful pause that restores both balance and inner calm.
5. When you look at the future of beauty, what excites you most, and what do you believe we need to leave behind?
What excites me most is the shift toward longevity science in skincare. For too long, beauty has been defined by instant results and unattainable ideals, but we are now entering an era that prioritises long-term health, resilience, and vitality. Advances in science allow us to go deeper, supporting the skin’s natural functions and ability to renew itself, while nature continues to provide the nourishment and protection trusted for generations. Our new Advanced Anti-Ageing Rich Cream reflects this philosophy, combining scientific innovation with Alpine botanicals to reduce signs of ageing, improve elasticity, and strengthen the skin over time.
True beauty is not about masking imperfections, but about prevention, care, and consistency. The future of beauty lies in holistic wellbeing: skincare that works in harmony with nutrition, movement, sleep, and mindfulness to support vitality inside and out.
